Work  /  Merchant Savings Group

A broker brand built to make processors compete.

Merchant Savings Group helps businesses stop overpaying to accept cards. We took the company through a full rebrand, redesigned and rebuilt its website off WordPress onto a fast modern stack, and armed the team with the collateral to sell.

01 The challenge

The brief

Merchant services is a crowded category full of processors that look alike and talk in jargon. Business owners rarely read their processing statements, and they're wary of anyone promising savings.

MSG needed to look established, trustworthy and clearly different from the processors it negotiates against.

02 The approach

The angle

We positioned MSG as the independent broker that works for the merchant, not the processor, and built a brand to match: deep green, brass and paper tones with an editorial serif that reads more like a private bank than a payments company.

On the site, a decoded statement card shows exactly which fees are fixed and which are negotiable, turning the most confusing part of the sale into the clearest.

05 Where it stands

MSG now walks into meetings with a brand, a website and sales materials that look like they belong to a much bigger company.
